Hi, I’m Albert.

After 35 years in UX design and leadership, I made a deliberate choice to stop. Not to retire. To redirect.

Today I do three things I love. I coach mid-career professionals navigating their next chapter. I photograph people and pets in portrait sessions that become keepsakes, and I make landscape photography as fine art. I design logos, brand materials, and event collateral for nonprofits and small local businesses. I'm passionate about people building something from the ground up, and good design shouldn't be out of reach for them.

A Little Backstory

I spent 35 years in UX design and leadership, most recently managing teams using discovery-driven product methods at in e-commerce. I left intentionally. My husband Kenn and I moved from Chicago to Tucson, and I started building a working life around what I actually wanted to do rather than what I had always done. That shift is the same one I help coaching clients make every day.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

I live in Tucson, Arizona, where the desert light makes you want to pick up a camera every morning. I start most days early, with coffee, a journal, and a quiet hour before anything else begins. I ride an e-bike. I track my sleep obsessively. I'm currently deep in a Sci-Fi phase and not apologizing for it. I once got a professional bartending certification to fill the gap between jobs. It turned out I just liked the work and the company.

I believe in intentional living, honest conversation, and doing work that fits who you actually are, not who you used to be.
